Private/Passenger

All plates are the same original series started in the early 1900's as silver
or white on black British style plates and are still valid today. They are
mostly used for passenger/private vehicles.
Black on white (front) and black on yellow (rear) reflective plates were introduced in 1968. They are mostly used for commercial vehicles and buses.
Emblems, ovals or shields on the plates are not official.
