Abyssinia was a colony of Italy between 1936 and 1941 (AOI = Africa Oriental Italiano).
It became part of what is now Ethiopia upon the country's independence in 1941.

Italian Occupied Montenegro

Most of today's Montenegro was occupied by Italy between 1941 and 1943 (Italian Governorate of Montenegro).
Following the Italian surrender in September 1943, the territory of Montenegro was occupied by German forces until December 1944.
